The meeting is the third in a series of four quarterly meetings of 2023 held by the Commissioner, which are intended to provide residents with updates and helpful information regarding the county’s departmental activities, and foster open communication between community members and leaders alike. It is a wonderful opportunity to fellowship with neighbors while enjoying breakfast and the new state-of-the-art community center. (*Breakfast available on a first-come-first-served basis.)
Special guest, Chief Darnell Fullum of DeKalb County Fire Rescue will provide an overview of fire rescue operations, provide safety tips, as well as employment and training resources for those interested in joining the department. DeKalb County department representatives will be also be available to respond to questions.
The meeting will be held on Saturday, July 22, from 9am to 11am at the Tobie Grant Recreation Center, located at 593 Parkdale Drive, in Scottdale.
