π Keeping justice accessible in Fulton County isnβt easy β our Court is handling an unprecedented number of cases, but staff shortages have limited how many courtrooms can operate daily. Chief Magistrate Judge Cassandra Kirk is committed to sustainable funding solutions to ensure every community member can have their day in court without delay. β Did you know? Our Court faces one of the highest Magistrate case volumes in the state, which puts extra pressure on our team striving to deliver timely justice. π©ββοΈ Running Georgia's busiest Magistrate Court with 3 staff across 9 courtrooms in 4 locations? It's not sustainable β but we're making it work because justice can't wait. Parties have filed 420,000+ cases since 2019. The math is simple: fewer resources, same commitment to access and case resolution. Since January 2025, our team has closed over 33,000 cases. π‘ Leading innovation β For a decade, we've turned limitations into breakthroughs. Now we're building a court system that doesn't just serve β it inspires. www.judgecassandrakirk.com
