When Fire and Emergency Services arrived, they continued life-saving efforts. As a result, the individual regained a pulse and was subsequently transferred to Northside Gwinnett for advanced cardiac care.Â
GCSO Court deputies were honored by county leaders and Gwinnett Fire and Emergency Services for their life-saving response during the medical emergency. This incident is a testament to the commitment and professionalism of our staff and all Gwinnett first responders. We extend our gratitude to Gwinnett Fire Chief Fred Cephas and Northside Hospital’s Chief Operating Officer in Duluth, and Vice President of Physicians Services Jay Dennard for highlighting the commendable service of GCSO and for supporting our shared mission of public service.
