Nic Burgess steps up as the new Assistant Director of the 911/EMA Department, preparing for a smooth transition as Arlene Whisenhunt approaches her well-earned retirement after 35 years of service. Machelle Hill will take the reins as the Director of the Coweta Public Library System on August 1, 2025, as we honor the contributions of retiring Director Jimmy Bass, who has served tirelessly for 35 years. Additionally, Jeff Rogers has been recommended for the position of Warden of the Coweta County Prison & Corrections Division, pending final approval from the Georgia Board of Corrections next month. County Administrator Michael Fouts expresses gratitude for the ongoing dedication of over 1,200 public servants and celebrates these new leadership appointments, emphasizing the importance of supporting our community.
